My mum loves sewing all the traditional clothes for our baby, as she did
for us..... continuation of tradition :D
She made these beautiful Kunchies (traditional
head gear for newborn babies) which are given to the newborn babies on special occasions
and are made of pure silk with border print and lined with pure cotton.

Since in Oz my mum came across these baby singlets which were more
comfortable to wear for babies than the traditional cotton wear from India (
purely due to seasonal differences). She
decided to sew a similar singlet with an old cloth lying in her sewing kit
but it lacks the professional finishing but was good enough for my daughter.
