Crochet Purse - Batwa

Hello Crafters,

Mum made this small purse (called Batwa in Marathi) from left over scrap wool. It is a perfect accessory to carry along with an Indian Saree to small traditional functions in temples or religious events.

Simple single crochet is used to make shell pattern. Mum also added some pearls in between to glamorised the purse a bit.

Crochet string is use to tie up the purse. The strings have pearls dangling at the end

It took her 5 days working around 1 hour on it everyday to finish the project.
Please let me know if you wish to own such pretty purse for your little girl! its the perfect cute gift!

Happy crafting!
